Award of the Professor Albert Speer - Foundation 2022

The award of the Professor Albert Speer - Foundation 2022 "Future City and Landscape - Strategies and Projects on Urban Resilience and Climate Change" continues the foundation's tradition of funding and rewards theses that have dealt with future issues of city and landscape.

Future City and Landscape - Strategies and projects on urban resilience and climate change.

One focus is on challenges arising from climate change and crises such as the pandemic. The award is aimed at German-speaking universities with planning-related degree programmes and is offered by the Professor Albert Speer - Foundation 2022 and the Chair of Urban Planning TU Kaiserslautern.

On 1 July 2022, the jury selected five winners and two acknowledgements from a total of 41 entries from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. On 30 September 2022, the festive award ceremony for the prize winners took place in Frankfurt am Main as part of the 4th Albert Speer Symposium. The award winners were not only honoured there, but also actively involved in discussions.
